What is up

Well, it was some time ago I had a time to put something on my blog, a lot of work releasing the Bfexplorer 1.0 and even more on other projects in which I customized Bfexplorer to suite their trading needs in horse racing and football.

Just now I am working on two interesting projects, the one integrates access to more exchange servers, currently the betfair and betdaq. The second project is Bfexplorer for Pocket PC quite interesting as well. It is pity that it is not possible to consume betfair web service directly on Pocket PC device due to some bug in betfair API the bdp team was  not able to solve this problem for now, so I had to create my own web service through which my Pocket PC application consumes betfair data.

The Latest Update 0.9.40.16379

The Bfexplorer now support Excel so those of you who are not familiar with C# or Visual Basic and do not want to write script bots for Bfexplorer directly can now use Excel and VBA for automation. Supported commands are: 

 

  • PLACE
  • UPDATE
  • CANCEL
  • CANCEL ALL

So if you want to place a bet on selection, type in particular rows and columns:

In this case on selection will be placed back bet 10 at 1.68

Frankly to say I prefer C# script bots coding, but as I said it is an alternative for rest of you, and actually an only way which was offered by other betfair software vendors, so you can find it in the Bfexplorer and choose what more suits your need.
